In Skylark class we have a large block play area for children to explore freely as they provide endless possibilities for development and learning. Children are actively engaged in meaningful, open-ended play and it encourages verbal and non-verbal communication, sharing, taking turns and collaborative skills when working in a group. Many mathematical and science concepts may be explored through block play and it allows for creativity and problem solving.
